See a problem! Report It
Back in the good old days County Councils would complete routine, preventative tasks to provent problems with the Highway network (Routine Road Sweeping, Ditch Clearance, Drain Clearance, Tree Maintenance, etc). However in 2021 all work completed to the Highways Network/Public Rights of Way/Paths/Pavements/Verges/Ditches is only done on a reactive basis.
So it will not be fixed unless somebody reports it to Balfour Beatty through Herefordshire Council’s website
All service requests and queries should be logged via the HC website at
https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/report-it or called through to the call handling team on 01432 261800.
Please encourage individuals to use the website or call the customer services call handling team.
This will help ensure that everything is logged in to the operating system known as CONFIRM where it can be responded to in a timely way.

Talk Community Hub in a Nutshell
A Talk Community Hub is a place or scheme, which helps connect people to their local area. Trained volunteers or staff can support people in accessing information and activities to enhance their wellbeing and independence. Although at the moment, government restrictions are not allowing people to meet physically, virtual platforms are being offered by communities as an alternative. For example, WellLINK operate Wellington Talk Community Hub and offer residents a wide range of information using their website and Facebook page.
Find contact details for your local Talk Community Hub on the WISH website hubs section and Wellington hub section

Fly Tipping 7th January – Credenhill to Tillington Road
The land owners are now dealing with a mixture of fly tipped rubbish that was dumped on land alongside the Tillington – Credenhill Road some time on the 7th January 2021. As the fly tipping was done on private farm land it is the responsibility of the land owner to dispose of the rubbish.
The land owner reported:
“As you will see from the attached photos, we are yet again suffering an increase in fly tipping, this time on the Credenhill – Tillington road. This despoils our countryside, is extremely bad for the environment, and is illegal.
Anyone caught fly-tipping will be prosecuted, and this will lead to a criminal record and a significant fine. The maximum penalty is a £50,000 fine and/or 5 years imprisonment. We will now be installing CCTV in various locations along the Credenhill-Tillington and Credenhill-Burghill roads. Hereford Police Rural Crimes team have been informed and will be increasing patrols in this area.
I would be grateful if you could draw attention to this issue in the CCN.”
