A480 Drainage Works – 29th January to 31st January

Please be aware that there will be temporary traffic lights on the A480 scheduled between 29th January & 31st January.

This is for essential highways drainage work to improve the surface water drainage off the A480 and to reduce the risk of flooding to properties along the A480. This scheme has been designed by Credenhill Parish Council and is funded through the drainage grant scheme administered by Herefordshrie Council.

We apologise for any disruption during the works and hope you will understand that these works will significantly improve the lives of residents whos properties have routinely been flooded since 2019.

Please see below location of the works:

Shared Lives Carers

Shared lives / Shared days. A different kind of care and support, including respite options for family carers.

Are you or anyone you know interested in a paid role working from home as a self- employed Shared Lives carer? You /They can choose to offer days, short breaks or long-term arrangements or a combination.

Are you working with / do you know family carers who need a break, overnights or for a regular day?

We may be able to help.

CQC registered Herefordshire Shared Lives matches assessed and approved Shared Lives carers with people who have an eligible support need.  This means that the person gets to know a Shared Lives carer, their home and household before agreeing to spend time, stay or move in with them.

The Shared Lives carer will welcome the cared for person with whom they are matched into their home, support and spend time with them according to the agreement we draw up. They may stay at the carer’s home and / or go out together to agreed places and events of mutual interest in the community.  They will be treated as part of the family, whilst knowing that the Shared Lives carers are approved, trained and supported by the Shared Lives team who also get to know them and make sure the support is working well.
